Krug Vintage 2004

At Maison Krug, every Krug Vintage celebrates the distinct character of a particular year, a blend of its most expressive wines, enhanced by a stay of over ten years in the cellars.

Each Krug Vintage is different, it tells the story of the unique circumstances of the year, of what surprised, enchanted or moved our Tasting Committee in the tasting room.

Highly expressive, bright, undeniably elegant and discreet, Krug 2004 combines citrus notes of all kinds, evoking the sensation of early summer mornings in Champagne. 

A vintage graced by nature’s elation, it is the vibrant song of a year so fresh, the Tasting Committee decided to nickname this champagne “Luminous Freshness.”

Krug 2004 is a dialogue between shining Chardonnays (39%), a backbone of Pinot Noir (37%) combined with the vivacity, tension and citrus notes of Meunier (24%).
